Drug Delivery System. A system for delivering active ingredients, presented here as a formulation research term.
NTNanotechnology
Nanotechnology. Technology concerned with nanoscale sizes and structures, listed in the previous skincare research overview.
MLVMultilayer vesicle formulations
Multilamellar Vesicle. A vesicle with multiple layers, a term related to formulation structures that hold ingredients.
HPLCIngredient analysis
High-performance liquid chromatography. A method for separating and analyzing the components of a mixture.
UV/VisUltraviolet–visible analysis
An analytical method that measures properties such as a substance’s absorption of ultraviolet and visible light.
