Ivory Rain Powder-to-Cream Bonding Hair Mask

Unlike a ready-made cream hair pack or jelly treatment, the water-activated microgranule format makes both the texture transformation and dosing ritual visible at the point of use. It suits brands exploring salon repair, travel-intensive care, refill or waterless positioning. Granule size, activation time, cream viscosity, conditioning level, fragrance, color, dose and pack architecture can be co-developed for the target consumer and channel.

Use hydrolyzed keratin and an amino-acid blend as the concept axis, supported by a cetearyl-alcohol and cationic conditioning system engineered to open into cream after water contact. Trehalose, betaine and panthenol can support the hydration story, with squalane, ceramide NP and jojoba esters adding a lipid dimension. The final formula should be tuned through testing for activation speed, dusting and caking, fragrance and oil loading, humidity stability, hair slip and rinseability.

After shampooing, gently squeeze excess water from the hair. Dispense a small amount with a dry dosing cap or into the palm, then add water gradually and rub until a smooth cream forms. Press evenly through mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the scalp, and leave for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Keep wet hands away from the inside of the pack during storage.
